
Consolidated Electric Employee Recipient of
Touchstone Energy’s Power and Hope Award
Mt. Gilead, OH- Consolidated Electric Cooperative reports that Pam Hawk, VP Marketing and Member Services/Human Resource is a 2009 recipient of the Touchstone Energy Cooperative’s Power and Hope Award.
At its 2009 Annual Meeting, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives announced Power & Hope Awards for co-op employees who exemplify commitment to community and the cooperative spirit. Nominations are requested for candidates for the awards. The Touchstone Energy Power & Hope Employee Recognition Program honors co-op employees who have gone the extra mile to help those in need.
Hawk is involved in several community organizations supporting the cooperative principle of commitment to community. Organizations include Morrow County Red Cross board member, Mothers Club providing clothes to low income children in the community, she serves on the NRECA Health Task Force, she is a past team captain for the Morrow County Relay for Life and is an annual participant, participates in the Christmas Adopt a Family program, has worked with HelpLine sponsored by the United Way, Vice President of The People Fund charitable foundation - also known as the Consolidated Electric Foundation, member of human resource council for Morrow County Chamber of Commerce.
