What is an Electric Cooperative?
An electric cooperative is a local, nonprofit electric company that is owned by the people it serves. Electric cooperatives are governed by a Board of Trustees that are elected by and from the membership. The Board sets policies and procedures that are implemented by Cooperative employees.
Consolidated Electric Cooperative
Consolidated Electric serves the energy needs of nearly 16,000 homes and businesses in eight counties of north central Ohio. The Co-op is committed to providing quality products and services to members and the community.
The Co-op offers not only electric, but also natural gas, propane,
Internet services, health monitoring services, and plumbing,
heating and electrical services through four wholly owned
subsidiary companies.
