Safety
Consolidated Electric Cooperative is dedicated to teaching both children and adults about electrical, propane and natural gas safety. You will see us doing electrical safety demonstrations in schools as well as with emergency responders, such as fire departments. We publish numerous safety brochures for members and the community. We want you to know how to be safe around electric and other forms of energy. Click on the Safety Information link on the left to find educational safety brochures.

Ice Storm Pictures - January 2005 2005 proved to be a very challenge year right at the start. A major ice storm affected a wide area of the state of Ohio and several counties that Consolidated serves. Safety of our members, the public, and our employees was our top priority in quickly restoring electrical service. Please take moment to view the damage to our electrical system and trees that were too close to the power lines. Also, a special thank you to the visiting field crews who worked long hours to safely restore service.
